Michelle's Run For Myasthenia Gravis PledgePage

Dear Friend:
Thank you for visiting the Michelle's Run Fundraising Page to benefit research for Myasthenia Gravis.
Myasthenia Gravis is a comparatively rare disease which affects from 50,000 to 100,000 people in the US. Literally, MG means grave muscle weakness. It is a chronic neuromuscular disease characterized by abnormal muscle weakness of the voluntary muscles or those muscles controlled eye movement, eyelids, chewing, swallowing, coughing and facial expression. Muscles that control breathing and arm and leg movements may also be affected.
Michelle's Run is in support of my courageous, determined and very dear friend Michelle. She is a remarkable person who inspires all who know her. The proceeds donated towards my Half Boston Marathon on October 8, 2006 and The Boston Marathon on April 16, 2007 go directly to The Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America Inc., specifically for research.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my MG fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and please don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might also want to donate towards Michelle's Run!

Thank you!
